PS Motherhood 18+
"Well get changed and I will be here."
"Oh right," I stammered over my words. I closed the door and then opened it "come in"
He smiled.
"Thank you" He stepped in slowly and waited at the door. I searched the dresser for something to put on. As I started pulling out clothes, some were mine, others were new. I found something I really liked. It was a little weird because it's not really something people knew about me. I took out the black bikini that had a collar with it. Chains connecting the collar to the front neckline of the bikini top which then split to each side-chain that connected the bottoms. It was also lose enough that it looked comfortable.
"So you like it."
I felt a slight breath on my neck, I turned around to Vincent right behind me. It scared me a bit, he didn't even make a sound.
"Yes, I do," I said with a heavy breath.
"Well let's see you in it." He said.
As he walked out of the room, I put the suit on, It fit perfectly. I looked in the closet for a pull overdress. I found one that had a black netting material with metal loops that looked like chains as well. I put the pull overdress on me then I went out the front door. I thought he would be there but he wasn’t.
"Yes you do look good in this," he said again behind me.
"You really gotta warn me when you do that."
He smiled and took myhand. I loved that his black swimwear was similar to mine down to the chains.
"So do you like it?" he repeated..
"The clothes, yes." I answered.
"Not the clothes,the house?"
"Oh yes, it's wonderful. I've always wanted a beach house." I confessed.
"Well, now you own one. I had it built for you." He dismissed my look of surprise.
"How long do you think I'll stay for?"
"Hopefully for more than a year." He answered with confidence.
I was a bit confused. I didn't ask any more questions, I didn't want to find out the answers to them I guessed. He took me deep into the rainforest.
"Do you own this whole estate then?" I asked.
"Yes, I own the entire Island. My family own the ones beside it. I however have the nicest looking one." he winked at her.
"Oh, why is that?" Chloe giggling as they hiked through the rainforest.
"Because they don't have this." He stepped out of my way. To show me a huge lake with little waterfalls around it. And gardens planted around it and sitting areas. It looked like one of the resort areas.
"Wow, you are good," I said laughing.
"Well, we made up this area for you." He answered by picking me off my feet and carrying me the rest of the way.
"Do you say that to all the girls you take out?" I said sarcastically.
"Actually I never dated anyone, until I met you," he responded coolly and unamused.
"Oh...I didn't..know.."
"It's fine," he answered unchanged.
There was a room with a hanging circle bed, with a table of fresh fruit and chocolate. Completely opened up with massive windows that had been opened. He smiled at me, as I looked around. I must have looked like a child in a candy shop. I honestly didn't know what to take of all this.
"Well make yourself at home, I'll be back, I have to make a call." Vincent said and with that, he was gone. I noticed in the far corner was everything you would need to write and draw. On top of it was a note, this should be everything you need to follow your dreams. Don't worry it didn't cost much. I looked at Vincent outside. I decided to go to the window where he was a few steps from. He hung up his cell.
"Unfortunately I have some matters to take care of, I'll send Dante over in a few hours to see if you need anything," Vincent said, partly annoyed.
"Oh okay. Thanks," I said quietly with some disappointment.
I didn't want to be left alone with Dante longer than I needed to be. Also in the same sense, I wanted to see him again. My body and my mind were sending me mixed signals. Vincent did threaten him. Maybe this was normal how people behaved. All I knew was that I was used to being used and tossed aside from the people that loved me. This place was still better than being at home. Dante at least didn't hit me. I mean maybe I was in the wrong. He was pretty hot. Beggars can't be choosers as my mom would always say.
I guessed he saw my face drop with disappointment.
He put his hand on my chin. "Don't worry I'll be back before you know it." He said in a sweet tone.
"Okay."
With a small kiss, he was gone.
I stared outside and watched him leave into the forest trail we came on. After I looked at the lake, I mean a swim wouldn't hurt right. The lake was crystal clear, dark blue water with lilies floating gracefully on the water. I took off my pullover dress, dipped into the water, and did a couple of laps in the lake. Once I dried off as I went to the room where the laptop was set up and grabbed a hammock by the water. setting up on the hammock and I stared at the computer screen.
“First-line Ummm. P.S I love you... Nah, that's a silly title... I erased it then a voice in the back of my mind said “Why not?”
It took a few minutes looking at a blank screen before I started typing anything. The thoughts started to pour into the laptop. A few words turned into a few sentences, to a few paragraphs into a few pages, and before I knew it I had a chapter typed. I got up and stretched out the cramps in my arms and legs. I went over to the food table and grabbed some chocolate-covered strawberries. They were so good. I really made an impression on him last night. I walked over to the window doors. It could have been 3 pm or noon I couldn't really tell.
I saw someone walking down the trail from the main house. I hoped it was Vincent but it wasn't. Dante came through the opening of the trees. He was in fire-red pants and reddish-blonde hair moving in the wind. Why him? Why not Jen ? But it is a little bit exciting don't you think? the voice whispers in the back of my mind. God, he was so hot his body painted the perfect bad boy, I couldn't help but feel my body get excited. He waved to me, I sighed and waved back. Ugh why him, though. I closed the laptop and put it down. There was someone else with him, he definitely worked out a lot, he was so buff...
He had wild light brown hair and wild dark Ember eyes and his body was like an untamed beast. He must have been 6 feet tall and definitely towered over me. They seemed to be talking, I couldn't make out what they were talking about. Sitting on the hammock chair by the lake. I lay back in the seat pretending not to see them and closed my eyes. A few minutes later I heard Dante talking to me.
"Hey, Chloe." Dante said, "I guess my brother doesn't trust me so he sent the dog out to guard you."
"Ha! Funny.." The stranger said beside him.
"Yeah well, I'd rather hang out with dogs than the likes of you." I snapped back with pettiness in my voice.
"Och, My feelings." Dante laughed. "Well you're in luck, I happen to be a part of the business Vincent is needed for babe. Don't worry I'll be back soon enough." He laughed walking away.
The stranger shook his head. With a huge sigh, he looked at her. " So you're Chloe, the ophan girl." He said sarcastically.
"So you're the dog," I replied unamused.
"Yeah, I deserved that. I'm Dyson.'' Dyson replied. "Why are you hanging out with losers like Dante anyways."
"Honestly... I have no choice."
"Oh, My family wanted me to come to check on you... We might act like friends but our families hate each other."
" I can say I understand why, they are a bunch of entitled assholes."
"Hahahaha That's got to be the best description of them yet."
He laughed again.
"So you're Vincent's new girl huh?"
I moved over to let him sit beside her.
"Ugh, I haven't really said yes to him like we went out but I'm for all purposes single. At least from my understanding of the deal"
"Oh well, then."
There was an awkward silence.
"Want to go somewhere, better than this?" he asked politely.
"Um yeah, sure," I replied. Not really, where could be better than this?.
He helped me out of the hammock.
"Thanks," I said, surprised.
He asked me if I wanted to get changed, but instead I pulled my dress over and reattached the chains.
He looked at me. "Alright then... Are you sure we'll be going back to our place anyways?
"In that case yeah I could at least put on actual clothes ."
He just smiled.
A while later we arrived at the beach house, he waited in the living room as I changed. I found a nice lolita gothic dress with a corset top. It had a collar of pentagram vest after I put it on with above the knees high heels and lastly a pair of black chained satin gloves. I keep the swimsuit on and chain up the clothes together with a chain connecting the sides of her dress to the collar.
I walked out, and Dyson looked at Chloe.
"You sure like to put on a show."
"What does it look bad or something I can change?" I questioned with concern.
"No. no. God no! You look amazing. I just never met a girl so willing to be herself. I mean you’re outclassing me"
He pointed to his blue jeans and a white muscle shirt. He had also put on a light sweater, but it still showed off his toned body. He took me to his boat and helped meinto it. I sat in the passenger side. As he untied the boat. He smiled and sat in the driver's seat starting the boat.
"So I guess it's a good thing I left my swimming gear on."
He laughed, "yeah I guess so."
He took me to the docks that were located at the backyard. Which was where he had docked his boat.
"Where are we going anyways."
"Somewhere more down to earth."
"Okay." I wasn't quite sure what that meant but whatever beats being alone with Dante. It was about 30 mins until we ended up in Rio. The city that we were in seemed to be having a festival. He tied up the boat and locked it to the deck. He helped me out, and we walked over to the stores to where the dancing was in full swing. Everyone was in bright, wonderful dresses and colors. I was in awe of the sight of the dancers and the streets were filled with life and excitement. He looked at me and smiled,
"So is this worth your time."
"Umm Yes."
"Right now they are just getting ready for the parade tonight. We have plenty of time, look around and shop if you would like. Or we can go to my loft for a bit. We will end up there in the end anyway, to drop off anything you buy.I will warn you, my roommates, can be something else."
"Oh, they can't be as bad as that family. I mean have you met Sophia?"
He laughed again. "Yes, that's a good point."
I didn't know what it was about him, but I knew felt so at home. Like I was meant to be with him, unlike Vincent he was warm and welcome, not cold and distant. He made me feel comfortable and trusting. He was different from the others; he was honest, kind, and seemed like he had nothing to hide. I also regretted my choice to be in all black clothes and chains. Everyone was just staring at me. Oh wait, I almost forgot I have a black eye, from when my brother punched me. That's why they are staring. We walked around the streets and went into a couple of stores, he noticed shopping wasn't really my thing so we went to a bar called the moon crescent. As we walked in,everyone went quiet. He showed me to the table and went over to the bar.The Bartender,who seemed to be a rather short fellow,poured us some drinks.Dyson seemed to be having an argument with the bartender. I only caught the end of the argument;
"If any of you have an issue with her being here, you can leave." You could hear a pin drop with how silent the room went.
"What happened to your face? I don't mean to be rude,'' Dyson asked when he came back with our drinks.
" My brother punched me," I replied nonchalantly .
I heard a low growl "what a coward."
"I deserved it, I didn't let him use my room, and look where it got me. Here."
"No, don't say that."
"Say what."
"You deserved it cause you didn't,'' Dyson said with kindness and concern laced throughout his tone.
A few did leave. I felt really awkward afterward. Dyson went into the back room, and the bartender came over and gave me some water and a glass of coke. I smiled weakly unsure what to do or say at this point. He smiled and sat in the chair opposite of her.
"Hey, Chloe." He said apologetically "don't mind those who left, they don't understand the position you're in right now. I don't think you even understand the position you're in either."
I looked at him puzzled.
"Ah, I see. So you have no idea about their profession or background. Which makes me think you know nothing of this bar and what this place is for others? Well, that isn't my place. I will make everyone here understand as well to leave you alone unless they mean to help and be kind." He smiled.
I said thanks as he cleaned off the table and walked away. 10 minutes later a girl walked over with what I guess must have been her boyfriend and his friends. There had to be at least 5 of them.
"You might have them fooled but we see you for what you are, an outsider that roams with the lifeless ones.."
Dyson happened to be walking out from the back; he had gone there with the bartender to sort out some personal matters. He glared at them and walked in front of them.
'Last I checked I was the one in charge, not you.'
"Maybe you shouldn't be letting this life sucker's bitch in here.'
"Get out," Dyson replied with authority in his voice as the others got up.
They left without another word. He sat across from me.
"Sorry about them." He said.
"What do they mean by life suckers.?" I asked.
He sighed.
"Why don't we leave this place and get the food to go." He replied kindly.
"Yeah okay." I smiled. "That sounds good to me."
The bartender said that he would be home shortly as well, given it was the day of the flower festival. They took a cab to his loft. It was in the nicer part of the city. It turns out his loft was actually a part of a house, in the rainforest, outside of the city. When we arrived I wasn't nervous. He showed me around and finally, we went to his loft inside the house. I sat on his sectional couch. So he brought in all their stuff from the cab. I turned on the radio. Dyson came back with our food. He sat down beside me on the couch.
"Sorry about them, they don't understand, and like I said my family has an issue with their family."
"No, it's okay. Honest," I said nervously, trying not to bother anyone.
"Well, that wasn't the welcoming party I was looking for."
"yeah... I get that. What did they mean by their kind?"
"Well, they call them life suckers because Vincent's family destroyed a lot of their families, businesses, and land. Being Native to the land you can probably understand why they are so upset," he replied.
" I had no idea." I replied "that's horrible... I mean I thought they were horrible people but I had no idea of the damage they had done to others."
"I know, that's why I asked them to leave and cool off," he sighed. "Anyways you must be hungry."
"Yeah, just a little."
We ate our food, and shortly after I heard the door open.
"Dyson, I am home."
"Oh hey old man," he replied.
"How is your lady?"
"I'm fine thank you" Unsure if I was supposed to answer.
"Oh, you bought her here."
"I'm sorry I can leave if you need me to?"
"No, no don't be silly, it's way too dangerous for a younger lady like you to be out there."
"Oh, okay."
"I didn't mean any disrespect towards you, my sweetheart, just he never brings women over."
I looked shocked.. really a guy as good-looking as him? I thought to myself. What is with these guys and not having an interest in women.
"Yup, unlike your other friends, Dante and Vincent, they tend to have a new girl every night they are out."
"Anyhow, that's not important." Dyson said awkwardly trying to change the conversation."
"Hold up... Other girls... Like Dante, yeah I can see that but Vincent? He never told me that."
"You were special, a girl like you comes around every blue moon.."
"Okay, that's enough Leo." Dyson hissed at the smaller old man.
I looked like I was about to cry.
Leo looked at me and walked out of the living room. Dyson grabbed me and pulled me into a hug.
"Don't listen to him, besides you're still single and got me." He smiled.
I started crying.
"Oh come on I ain't that bad."
"No, it's not that. My parents sent me here to be rid of me, they didn't even care if my life was at risk. They were just happy to be rid of me." Chloe cried into his shoulder. "And if everything they are saying is true then I really was just pawned off to the nearest people that would take me. Some are entitled to rich family. which apparently treats women like shit. On top of all that I'm to be married into the family."
"I mean at least they are a rich family. So you can use them for money or at least make their lives hell by knowing you can literally get whatever you want." Dyson looked at me with a little bit of sarcasm. "I mean that sounds like all paid vacation especially if Vincent is as taken by you as he claims. Don't listen to Leo, he's just a miserable old man." he then smiled at me hoping to make her feel better. Which it did a little... Even just a little was considered a win for him.
I returned the smile, gladly..
"Yeah, I guess you have a good point."
"Ah good, I thought I sounded like an asshole for a minute there."
We laughed together.
"My lady, you need to change into festival clothes." He smiled at Chloe mischievously.
"Oh no, you are not putting me into colors. You can take me out and sweet talk me but ain't no way I'm wearing colorful clothes."
"Hahaha, don't worry it's not colorful."
He handed me a small wrapped gift.
"I saw this and thought you might like it," he said while I opened the gift.
"Omg.. how..where..when..." I was at a loss for words... It was so beautiful it was a Spanish-designed black dress with a red lace around the arms and chest. Something you would see on a tango dancer.
"Well, what are you waiting for? Try it on." Dyson showed me to the bathroom.
I came out with a red flower in my hair and gave a small twirl around. The dress flowed with every curve I had. I wasn't big but I wasn't thin. I was a very curvy girl.
"Wow, you look amazing." Dyson half said to her and to himself. He made me feel like the most beautiful girl in the world with those 4 tiny words.
"Well, my lady shall we go?"
A girlish laugh escaped my lips.
"Yes, my kind sir."
We giggled at each other, taking his arm we headed off to the festival. There were fireworks and so many dancers and flowers everywhere. It was amazing watching everyone. We danced among the other party-goers , everything was so lively. I was having so much fun, I did not want the night to end but all too soon we we sitting at a secluded table, sparkling drinks in front of us. Dyson spoke up.
"Well, I suppose I should get you home.''
Looking at my phone for the first time in hours, I see a new message. It read "turns out I'll be gone for a few days, have fun, my princess."
