Gardening for all seasons part 2

'What can be enjoyed at this time of year you might say?' There are still many winter delights in the garden for engrossing yourself in.

Brown foliage can glisten with winter frost and sun. Winter bulbs can come into their own and winter bonfires can warm the spirit. Trees bare limbs can be admired for their architectural beauty and evergreen plants and hedges become the joys of the garden. Grass seed is prepared for spring with shrubs and trees pruned back in many different shapes for the coming spring.

Hard landscaping comes to the forefront. Paths can be relaid, old paving stones repaired, Greenhouses and glasshouses are given the perfect clean. This gives a welcoming environment for the sowing of seeds and the propagation of plants in late winter and early spring. Garden ornaments and statues are given a thorough seen to for winter care and ensuring the winter garden is kept well up together.

Many plants are chopped back and plants covered up with a durable material for winter protection. Leaf collection carries on for the trees that dropped their leaves late.

Beds are Doug over for spring preparation and winter nature is loved in all its mystery and wonder.

Beds are dug over, not Doug over. You could also say that the soil is turned.

That said, well written and nicely done.
