a man and a well

There was a man staring down a well
He thought what would happen if he fell

Could he die from something as simple as this
Or would he keep falling in an endless abyss

staring now down the deep black hole
he threw in the thing that he stole

As it was falling into pitch black
He saw something evil staring back

It gazed at him with bright red eyes
It took him by a little more than surprise

He felt a tug on the front of his shirt
and threw himself back on the safe dry dirt

A good children's story, with a subtle moral.

A clean-up, of spellings and punctuation is needed, however.

I liked this story, well done.

Thank you for all your comments regarding this story. Still a working process and yes - has to be clean.

Again thank you - I do appreciate this.....
