A Lesson of Life

Even with sight most cannot see.
They try to live wild, yet nothing is free.

They say live like there's no tomorrow, they live in the day.
Yet they tell you to plan for the prices you'll pay.

The best things in life are the ones that don't last,
Like the moments that come and go by so fast.

The love that you give is not always returned.
The pains that you feel are the lessons you've learned.

Like an unwanted or unexpected goodbye.
Happy memories can always make you cry.

It's not the things that you have, but the sights that you see.
And everyone can say, "It's hard to be me."

The reason I rant the reason I rave.
Remember the best life to live is the one that you pave.

How very true.

A welcome return to the Den, with a fabulous lesson for us all.

Well done, and well written, pyrmist. :)
