¤ 1986

Mayday Mayday, the words they wanted to sing,
But upon deaf ears those words would ring.

The early morning started with rage,
With this many lives unbeknowingly would change

Chernobyl Chernobyl will be the words they now sing,
Worldwide these words shall ring.

Across the world the invisible did float,
The liquidators saved the world, they aren't around to gloat.

So remember that day, the day that was
April 26 1986, Chernobyl, forever lives on.
