I'm a writer and aspiring filmmaker in college. I've been writing seriously/recreationally since middle school as a creative outlet and a way to cope with manic depression, I'm lucky that my passion makes me feel better about myself and subsequently, the world. I've been publishing my first big writing project on Amazon, a horror/adventure/coming-of-age story inspired by the likes of Neil Gaiman and Stephen King called 'Those Who Dwell In The Dark', check them out if you're bored, you'd be supporting a struggling writer and I greatly appreciate your time.
Mainly doing this for recreational purposes, I want to improve my writing and maybe one day I can make a scant living from it, as well as push myself to be more adventurous. Criticism is always welcome. In fact it's what I'm here for.
I'm a junkie for pulpy entertainment. I love me some classic lit but I've found a lot of appeal lies with less avant-garde sensibilities. Old paperbacks you'd find in a Half Price Books are my jam. I'm Stephen King's number 1 fanboy (hopefully I am devoid of any Annie Wilkes tendencies) and I love film too. Just everything.
