Sad that the huggers are wise enough to stay home, trapped as we feel, and all lose from their absence. And worse, the loud and callous take the field blundering, blustering and blasting virally.

Very lovely, relaxing imagery. Nice work.
If you check through the text you will find a handful of obvious typos and maybe a couple awkward word choices. No big deal. Easy to fix.

On the western side the ancient term 'Memento mori' was used to view life's disparities. The coarser modern term is 'Life is shit and then you die.' You have well expressed this contemplative side...
