Forget me not As the sun goes down As you gaze at the moon And the stars all around Remember my love And my arms holding you close And never forget that It’s you I loved most Forget me not As the wind does howl As the seasons change And the cold air prowls I’ll remember your love That kept me warm And your embrace that Helped me weather many a storm Forget me not As the spring comes again As the grass grows green And flowers blossom in the rain Remember our love That we held so dear Remember our love And dry your tears
