Hardly, had I noticed The lack of wind in my chest. Was I standing or falling? Frozen there, recalling, Supposedly searching for Meaning and an answer to A most rewardless test. Only a pause;  a halt, Some time just to break, I need not be moving Or forced into proving. Having only to inhale, easily so; The heart will pump, lungs exhale, That is all it will take. As legs, then, will stir And thoughts will return. Can I, now, lift my feet To that familiar beat? And my stride is now matching the crowd, As it approaches the place, Where we are likely to burn.

I am curious. Why, and where, are you going to burn?
I was recalling an anxious moment when i did not know for sure what the outcome would be, but the sense of dread told me that it was nothing good.

    Thanks for reading Kt
