Salma has a mission. She's leaving her socks hanging wet, indoors. Under the rope, the blood is dry and cold; One barefooted step and she's going live, the Live Aid of breaking news, no cash to send, no music to give. She's reforming the events of hours-ago, as her socks hang wet indoors, and the world awaits her live feed.

Thanks for sharing. I'm unsure why "hours-ago" is hyphenated. Otherwise it's an easy read.
I've made it a noun; a sort of tangible Hours-Ago.
On what station does this anchor woman ply her trade?
She's not an anchor, Kt. Smile
