The trouble with shoelaces are like the bindings of these words, expendable and unsought. I've been wearing a couple of slips-on/slip-ons to slip on few lacing seconds, ancient and miscalculated. And I have come to recognize the many knots there were, orthodox and avant-garde. A combination of loops with catchy names, and one particular knot taught by my fashionista cousin. None has worked.

    Lol! The simple, old-fashioned bow still works best.

    Oh, I might try slip-on/slip-off. It seems to fit a bit better.
