It's there next to me. In the car, In the bed, Where your hand should be. At my table Your chair On the street It's there. When I walk, When I sleep, When I cook, When I eat, It's there. The warmth is gone. The dent, The impression, The hole, The gap that your body filled, It's there. The spot where our hands were held The seat on the couch where we laid watching TV The smell of you in everything It's gone.
