This isn't mine. This is a poem that was written by a woman whose funeral I preached recently. She wrote it when she learned she was dying. I was really touched by it and wanted to share it with you all.

Note: This isn't mine. This is a poem that was written by Mary Smith whose funeral I preached recently. She wrote it when she learned she was dying. Her life was really interesting and filled with self-sacrifice. I was really touched by it and wanted to share it with you all. But since it falls Unto my lot That I should go And you should not I'll gently rise and softly call Good night! And joy to all! Mary E. Massingill Smith © 2010

May God grant me the grace and dignity that she displays when my time comes.
    Beautiful.
